The next step for the production process
Trying to get the best finish on the model by layering up the pieces to form the curved area of the model and experimenting with different kinds of finishes to see which one had the best outcome. For example I used a polymer filler for the first try but the finish become to lumpy and the polymer did not stick very well on to the actual base of the model very well.
The first sanding experience was with a light coating of resin which worked very well once sanded down creating a very nice smooth finish which allowed the process of primer very easy . Another process I used was the polymer filler which I used to cover the gaps and eventually created a light coating which did not work very well because the wood began to expand due to the polymer moisture the wood causing the wood to expand and making the piece not be able to fit in the right area .
